Dead Space, back in the days
These were done during the initial brain storming days of Dead Space (before the game had a name). One of the ideas was that the ship was towing a giant asteroid, and inside hid the aliens. The aliens crawl across the towing cables and gain acccess to the ship.
We wanted to try a "different" ship design approach. I explored the vertical idea for a while, since that'll make for some interesting levels in a space-horror game.
