what is Form Extraction? These things are looking awesome tho!
It's a way to generate new shapes/forms which look balanced and pleasing to the human eye; no matter what the subject is. Basically, how to make shapes look "cool." <- a term that is very difficult to teach.
god, wish i have money to study at your school..
Fundamentals should be taught to anyone willing to learn not based on how large their checkbook is or what connections they have. Its to bad really. Another top notch resource lost.
Self-teach is 100% free. :) That's why we have Design Cinema.
no, really. if i had enough money. i definitely want to study there..to improve my skill & experience.. right know my skill is kind a stuck...it doesnt go anywhere...:(btw great school, great design art, & hope to see more of your outstanding work..& im starting to watch ur channel on Ytube..subscribe..hopping to increase my skill a little..thanks a lot 4 this :)
@ Best Art Zazzle CatalogueOh, my comment wasn't directed at you :) It was for the one after, regarding the cost of education. I'm willing to drop all tuition costs down to 1 US dollar, if someone is willing to step up and give me a few million dollars a year - operational costs for running a school; including instructors and staff salaries, rent, computer equipments, facilities build outs/upgrades, insurance, etc. Some people forget that running a full-time school costs A LOT of money. And even though the Design Cinema videos are free, they are not "free" for us. It takes 3 full-time staff to produce those each week.
Form extraction, a very nice technique indeed. There are a few versions of this, I'd love to see your method on an upcoming Design Cinema video if possible. Thanks for putting in all your time & effort into these informative examples.Cheers
-ooh,,lol,,-yes i very agree with you on that one.. that why if i had enough money.. i will go to fzd's right away..:)-wow 3 guys for each vid? ..thank you sooo much mr. feng zhu for that..the vid, its pumps me to make something great.. ..respect..

Excellent work as always Feng. I had a very small criticism but I removed that comment. Your range as an artist and the speed in which you create is something that I've always admired.
Feng you are always an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your sketches, ideas and techniques so freely.I would also love to see a video on "form extraction." I am surprised that I never heard of this going through school.
